Last Sunday I woke up to find something very unusual - Mr. C whipping up Belgian waffles in the kitchen. In a house where there are only two breakfast options (eggs or cereal) this seemed like a very big deal. In fact it was so special that it even deserved eating at the dinning room table for the first time in years. Considering this was only the second time C ever made this favorite breakfast delight of mine, I was very impressed. They came out perfectly golden brown and deliciously crisp, and even better topped with whipped cream and a variety of fruit. I can see this becoming our new Sunday morning tradition.
