{Spring organizing}

Each month I read a fair amount of magazines, some of which I subscribe to, some I usually purchase. Since we live in a small apartment, I have to be very selective about what to keep in our home. Magazines can accumulate and take up space pretty quickly. To avoid this matter I periodically look through each issue, cut out the articles that I like, and get rid of the rest. I then organize saved pages by topic, put each one in a sheet protector and place them in designated binders.

I use sticky label cards to write down the contents of each binder.

To avoid having rows of mismatched binders on my shelves, I buy multiples of the same style. I especially love this polka dot design for storing the recipes in my kitchen.

Spring has been a bit hesitant to show it's face here in the Windy City, so I've decided to protest by wearing an array of soft pastel hues lately. Now will you please hurry up, Spring, and hit us with a full swing.
